GREAT NEWS!
Fishermen have been asking for a two day championship for several years and this year the Central Texas Marine Association has contracted with the Bell County Exposition Center to again host a two day championship!

CHAMPIONSHIP

Saturday, Jan. 10, Lake Belton, we'll fish from safe daylight to 3:00 PM with the weigh-in during the Central Texas Boat Show in the dome at the Bell County Exposition Center in Belton starting at 3:30 PM.
Sunday, Jan. 11, Lake Stillhouse, we'll fish from safe daylight to 2:00 PM with the weigh-in during the Central Texas Boat Show in the dome at the Bell County Exposition Center in Belton at 2:30 PM.
*Due to lake levels please check back for possible lake or ramp changes just in case a lake or ramp are closed to the public.

Registrations forms are available at Tightlines Premium Fishing Tackle in Killeen, Marine Outlet in Temple, Texas Boat World in Harker Heights, Waco Tackle in Waco, and B&G Boat Services in Gatesville.  For an additional fee you may also register online at www.active.com (up to 6:00 PM the Thursday before the tournament) or at the ramp the morning of the tournament.

The top 12 teams of each tournament will automatically qualify for the championship. Points will be calculated based on how well a team finishes in each of the four qualifying tournament and the top 12 points finalists (after removing the teams that automatically qualified) will also be eligible to fish the championship. Entry fee is $200 per team per tournament (includes big bass) if pre-registered by 600 PM the Thursday before the tournament. Afterwards entry is $250 per team. Teams that have qualified for the championship pay only $110 and are encouraged to pre-register so that we know how much food to purchase.  Registration will also be open the morning of the tournament at the headquarters (HQ) pavilion near the lauching ramp. See full tournament rules for complete details. The lake is off limits starting at Sunday midnight the week before the tournament (unless the Monday following Sunday is a federal holiday then off limits is Monday at midnight).  You may launch your boat for the qualifiers at any open launching ramp as early as 4:00 AM the morning of the tournament, but you must report in to HQ to draw your team number and must not start fishing until your team is released by the weighmaster.
